Laurel County Sheriff John Root says three people led deputies on a short chase on Jesse Smith Road. Deputies said the car drove off during a traffic stop. 24-year-old Jarrett Jones of Manchester was driving and 49-year-old Lisa Stewart of Manchester and 42-year-old Curtis Hatfield of London were passengers. When Deputies got the vehicle stopped again, they found hydrocodone and oxycodone in Stewart’s possession. Hatfield had a warrant out of Knox County on several traffic offenses. Jones was charged with fleeing or evading police, among others. All three were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
