An update on a story we reported earlier this week. Knox County Deputy Claude Hudson appeared in Jackson County Family Court this week for an Interpersonal Protective Order hearing. According to the Jackson County Circuit Court Clerk’s Office, Hudson received an IPO valid for two years. These orders are intended to stop violence and abuse by placing restrictions on a respondent after a court hearing. No further court dates were noted in his file. This is in light of news that broke last week that Hudson was suspended from duty with pay while Kentucky State Police investigate a criminal complaint filed against him. Kentucky State Police confirmed the investigation is active but could not release any further information.
