The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office says deputies arrested a man for throwing a Christmas ham at a woman, among other things. Officers were called out to a domestic dispute at a home on Love Road. When they arrived, they caught 21-year-old David D. Brannon, trying to run away. During the investigation deputies learned a family was arguing over which day to have Christmas dinner. This is allegedly when Brannon threw items at the woman, including the Christmas ham. Deputies said they found multiple items on the floor in the kitchen. Brannon was charged with fourth-degree assault and fleeing or evading police on foot. He was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
