Kentucky State Police say charges are pending stemming from a deadly crash in Knox County. Troopers say 20-year-old Amber Hacker, of Williamsburg, crossed the center line and struck a guardrail. The car then shot back to the other side of the road, flipping after it hit a rock embankment. One passenger, 45-year-old Dale Taylor, of Barbourville, was pronounced dead at the scene. There were five people in all inside the car. Troopers say none of them were wearing seatbelts and investigators believe alcohol and drugs played a factor in the wreck. Police say there have been no arrests yet. Driver Amber Hacker is still at the University of Kentucky Medical Center being treated for her injuries. The investigation is continuing.
