Laurel County Sheriff John Root says deputies arrested a woman after she went on a six-hour shoplifting spree. Officers say 43-year-old Marissa Saylor was arrested at the Corbin Walmart with close to $450 worth of unpaid items. She told deputies she knew she would get caught and that she didn’t understand why she did it. Officers also found meth on her. Saylor faces several charges. She was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
