Kentucky State Police say they collected more than 211 tons of food statewide during their annual “Cram the Cruiser” campaign. That is roughly 422,682 pounds of food. The donations will go to food banks across Kentucky. KSP Commissioner Rick Sanders said due to the generous giving spirit of individuals, businesses, schools and civic organizations throughout the state, they are able to assist Kentucky families who may be financially strapped this holiday season.
