Update: Kentucky State Police have identified the human remains found on Monday in Knox County. Troopers said they believe the remains belong to 34-year-old Adam Keith Pinkley. Investigators say Pinkley was reported missing in Laurel County back in June. Troopers said they were able to identify him by his pacemaker, which was found along with his remains. Kentucky State Police say they are currently treating it as a death investigation. Investigators say they are trying to determine Pinkley’s cause of death and how his remains ended up in the wooded area in Knox County.
