Kentucky State Police said an arrest was made Wednesday in connection to a newborn baby found dead in a trash bag in Clay County. Police arrested 21-year-old Amber Bowling and charged her with murder-domestic violence. According to the arrest citation, the autopsy revealed that the baby had a cranial fracture, a brain bleed and fractured ribs. Police said Bowling told them she gave birth to the infant on Sunday. She then allegedly put the crying baby in the trash bag and threw it over the upstairs banister of the apartment complex. She was lodged in the Clay County Detention Center.
