Kentucky State Police say they are investigating counterfeit money in Eastern Kentucky. Troopers said they are looking into a forged $100 bill and are concerned there may be more bills circulating in the area. They said the bill resembles a $100 bill but does not have a series number or any security features. Troopers said the bill also has a different feel than standard currency and has small Chinese writing on the back, which appears to be stamped on the bill. Troopers say if anyone comes in contact with this bill or any other counterfeit money to call Kentucky State Police.
