Laurel County Sheriff John Root says three people were arrested after a child was found wandering outside. Deputies were called out to a home off Davenport Lane on a domestic violence report. When officers arrived they found a three-year-old child wandering around outside the house alone. Deputies arrested 22-year-old Rose A. Smallwood and 36-year-old William A. Morgan who were found fighting inside the home. Smallwood was charged with assault, wanton endangerment and others. Morgan was charged with assault and wanton endangerment. Deputies also arrested another person, 33-year-old Rodney Mullikin of Lily, who wandered by and appeared to be intoxicated. All three were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center. The child was taken by Social Services and placed with family.
