The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office says deputies arrested two men after a traffic stop. Officers say they pulled over a vehicle on Arthur Ridge Road. During the roadside investigation the driver, 30-year-old Roger Hayes, gave them multiple false names. They later found out he had several outstanding warrants. On top of the warrants he was charged with giving officers false information. The passenger in the vehicle, 38-year-old Brian Roaden, is also facing charges. Deputies say he was in possession of over-the-counter cold medication, aluminum foil and a rubber hose. They say all of those items are ingredients that are used to make methamphetamine. Roaden is charged with unlawful possession of a meth precursor. Both men were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
