The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office says a traffic stop lead to a drug bust. Deputies pulled 19-year-old Preston J. Walters of East Bernstadt over on KY 490 after they said he weaved across the centerline. During the stop deputies say they smelled marijuana coming from the car. Walters admitted he had smoked marijuana and possibly had meth in his system. They said he had three glass pipes, a grinder, three scales and marijuana. Walters was arrested and charged with DUI, trafficking marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia among others. He was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
