The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office says two people were charged after deputies found a stolen camper and construction equipment. Deputies say they got a tip about where to find a stolen Skid Steer Caterpillar, worth $80,000. That led to the discovery of a stolen camper trailer. In the camper, they found 32-year-old Erica Fox, who had pills, a glass pipe used to smoke meth, a hypodermic needle and marijuana. She was charged with receiving stolen property, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and not keeping prescription-controlled substances in the proper container. As the investigation continued, authorities learned the identifying tags and serial numbers were missing from the skid steer and RV camper. They arrested a second person, 38-year-old Timothy W. Reynolds, for receiving stolen property and obscuring the identities of machines $10,000 or more. The skid steer had been reported stolen from a construction site off Park Hill Road near Corbin. Fox and Reynolds were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
