The Wiliiamsburg Police Department says an Emlyn man and a Williamsburg woman are behind bars after officers found suspected methamphetamine in their vehicle. Police pulled the pair over and during the roadside investigation a search turned up a plastic bag with a crystal-like substance believed to be methamphetamine and a set of digital scales inside the vehicle with a crystal like substance on it believed to be meth. Officers arrested the driver, 25 year old Desirae Davis, and passenger, 34 year Travis Angel, and charged them with trafficking in a controlled substance. Angel was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Both were lodged in the Whitley County Detention Center.
