The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office says deputies arrested a man in connection to a burglary. Investigators say someone broke into the First National bank branch off US 25 East. During the investigation, a detective arrested 22 year old Earl E. McIntosh on an unrelated warrant. After reviewing video footage from the bank, officials connected McIntosh to the burglary. As deputies learned more, they discovered McIntosh had earlier been in possession of a cash drawer stolen from Philly Connection off US 25 East. He faces charges of third-degree burglary, possession of burglary tools, theft by unlawful taking, criminal mischief and receiving stolen property. McIntosh was also wanted for failing to appear in court on charges of terroristic threatening. McIntosh was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
