Laurel County Sheriff John Root says a woman is behind bars after trying to leave a store without paying for merchandise and then giving deputies a fake name. Deputies were called out to Walmart near Corbin where a woman was detained by loss prevention staff. The woman claimed to be 29 year old Patricia Hensley. Employees say she shoplifted close to $300 worth of items. Officers arrested her and later learned her true identity, 29 year old Ashley Boggs, who was wanted on a parole violation. Boggs faces several charges and was was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
