Laurel County Sheriff John Root says their K-9 units spent the week in Paris, Tennessee, attending the National Narcotic Detector Dog Association certification course. Deputy Jake Miller with K9 Gotcha and Deputy Daniel Grigsby with K9 Edge successfully completed the annual training. Both K-9 teams completed an additional 32 decoy course. Sheriff Root says Deputy Miller and K-9 Gotcha are a new addition to the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office K-9 program. He says they’re an outstanding addition to their already successful K-9 program.
