The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office says deputies arrested a teenager during a drug bust. During an investigation off Ky 229, deputies working with Kentucky State Police and FBI found 11 pounds of marijuana oil, 16 pounds of high-grade California marijuana, 30 pounds of gummies laced with marijuana oil and 349 vape pins. A 16-year-old boy was arrested and charged with trafficking more than five pounds of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and three counts of possession of a handgun by a minor. The teen was taken to the juvenile detention center in Breathitt County. Deputies said the marijuana was intended to go into local schools.
