Knox County Sheriff Mike Smith deputies responded to a complaint on Walnut Ridge Drive in Bimble where a property owner said there were people inside the residence who were not supposed to be there and were using drugs. When officers went in to investigate they found a bag of suspected methamphetamine, three glass meth pipes, a used syringe and a set of digital scales. Deputies arrested 28 year old Darien Bargo, who was under home incarceration from a previous arrest and was wearing an ankle bracelet. Also arrested was 29 year old Chandra Hooker. Both were charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. While Hooker was being processed at the jail a small bag of marijuana was found. She was then also charged with promoting contraband. Bargo and Hooker were lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
