The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office says a traffic stop led to the arrest of four people. Deputies attempted to pull over an SUV that had failed to signal a turn. The vehicle continued on for over a quarter of a mile before pulling over into the North Laurel High School parking lot. During the investigation a passenger, later identified as 34 year old Randolph Sizemore of Barbourville, gave officers false information. Deputies say they learned Sizemore had several outstanding warrants and was a parole violator. When Sizemore realized police were on to him he jumped out of the vehicle and ran nearly 100 yards before they were able to arrest him. Deputies said Sizemore yelled and cursed while he was being arrested, which caused a disturbance at a football game being played nearby. Deputies say they also found Sizemore, the driver 23 year old Megan N. House, and two other passengers, 20 year old Cody Pruitt and 40 year old Wendy J. Hooker, were in possession of suspected crystal meth, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. All four were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
