The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called out on a report of a woman trying to get into a vehicle that wasn’t hers. Officers arrived at the scene to find 44 year old April Johnson of Corbin. Deputies say they noticed Johnson was unsteady on her feet and did not know what town she was in. She reportedly told them she was on meth. She was arrested and charged with public intoxication-controlled substances. She was also wanted for failure to appear in court on DUI and other charges. Johnson was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
