The Knox County Sheriff’s Office says two teen boys were arrested after leading deputies on a chase. Deputies say the two allegedly stole a vehicle from the Kentucky Juvenile Justice group home in Middlesboro. Officers spotted the stolen vehicle near Sonic on Highway 25E in Corbin. When they tried to pull it over the driver, 18 year old Zaontae Todd of Middlesboro and the other teen passenger, refused to stop. Deputies say the chase continued onto northbound I-75 reaching speeds over 90 miles per hour at times. Eventually, the teens came upon construction near exit 58 and were stopped by Rockcastle County deputies. Deputies say Todd tried to ram into the officers’ cruisers, then got out of the vehicle and tried to fight them before being arrested. Todd was taken to the Rockcastle Detention Center. The other teen was taken to the Adair County Juvenile Detention Center.
