Laurel County Sheriff John Root says deputies arrested a man after he allegedly smoked meth inside a business. Officers were called out on a complaint that 37 year old Jonathan S. Wagers of London was inside a business restroom off US 25 just north of London. Wagers had reportedly been in the bathroom for about 15 minutes and callers said they believed he was smoking some sort of narcotic. When deputies got there they found Wagers under the influence and he admitted he had smoked meth earlier. They say Wagers also had a baggie of a crystal substance believed to be meth on him. Wagers was charged with public intoxication-controlled substances and possession of a controlled substance. He was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
