The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called out on a shoplifting complaint from the Family Dollar Store off Highway 30. Employees at the store told deputies the man took items and ran without paying for them. The very next day, deputies were once again alerted by store employees about the same man coming back to the location and once again stealing items. Deputies did not say what the man stole or what the value is of the stolen items. Investigators say the man is driving a silver Pontiac Grand Prix with different colored doors. They say he was last seen driving in the direction of Jackson County. Anyone with information is urged to call the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office at 606-864-6600.
