Two men from Clay County face federal drug and gun charges. A grand jury indicted Franklin Lovins and Bobby Sizemore in June. According to the indictment, the pair along with others conspired together to distribute 500 grams or more of a mixture or substance containing a detectable amount of methamphetamine. The alleged crimes happened between January and May of this year in Clay, Boyle and Laurel Counties. If convicted Lovins and Sizemore face up to life in prison and a $20,000,000 fine. A judge set their trial this week for September 10th.
