A Whitley County woman has pleaded not guilty to child endangerment. Gloria Sands of Williamsburg was charged with six counts of endangering the welfare of a minor after police found six children left alone in a hot car. The children, ranging in age from 11 months old to 11 years old, told police their mother had been in Walmart for 10 minutes to get milk for one of the smaller children. Police say it was 85 degrees outside at the time. Sands pleaded not guilty in Whitley County District Court. Her next court date is a pretrial set for July 25th.
