London city officials say they received a grant for more than $400,000. The money will go toward improving recycling resources. The city already offers curbside pick up for recycled items. City workers hope to use some of the grant money to buy new equipment and hope future grants will help the recycling program expand. Public Works Director Steve Edge said he would like to see some of the other area cities and counties join their facility and give them a better chance to expand without starting a recycle on their own. There is also a recycling drop off center on TLC Lane for anyone in Laurel County to use.
