Pulaski County Sheriff Greg Speck says a Somerset man was arrested by deputies after a stabbing incident this week. Deputies responded to a 911 call from a home on Pine Hill Lane. Upon arrival, officers found 24 year old Desiree Marie Jimenez-Rossado, who told them her former boyfriend forced his way into the home and stole her telephone. She said he also struck her several times on the head and stabbed her at least three times on the arm and shoulder. She was treated at the scene by Pulaski EMS and transported to Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. The former boyfriend, 22 year old Elmer D. Ramos-Ocasio, had left the scene. Deputies later spotted him in a car and tried to pull him over. Ramos-Ocasio refused to stop and led police on a pursuit that ended with the help of Somerset Police. Ramos-Ocasio was arrested and lodged in the Pulaski County Detention.
