A man and woman went to the hospital Monday night after their motorcycle collided with a deer. The crash happened on US 25 in Laurel Co around 9:15 p.m. Officials say the man was driving the motorcycle when he hit the deer, lost control and ran off the roadway. Both the man and the woman were thrown from the motorcycle. They were both wearing helmets and riding gear. The man was airlifted to the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville. The woman was taken to Saint Joseph Medical Center in London. At last report officials had not released the victims’ names.
