The Kentucky State Police says a plumber imposter accused of scamming people for thousands of dollars was arrested in London on a charge of DUI. Troopers arrested 30 year old Derrick Feltner of London, and charged him DUI, no registration receipt and no registration plates. Feltner had several warrants out for his arrest that accused him of posing as a plumber between March 2017 and January 2018 and scamming several people out of thousands of dollars. The arrest warrants said Feltner also did not possess a valid plumber’s license or permits and that he advertised himself as a plumber. Feltner allegedly took money from homeowners for materials and labor and never returned to do the work. Where he did work, he allegedly used unapproved materials and methods to install plumbing. Felter allegedly did not have a valid permit to perform the jobs or liability insurance. He also did not have a valid plumber’s license. Felter was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
