The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office says a man is facing charges after deputies found two malnourished dogs. Deputies say they were called to a home on Keavy Road for an animal cruelty complaint. When they arrived, the saw two dogs tied to a camper trailer. They say they couldn’t find any dishes that would indicate the dogs had been fed or watered. Deputies arrested 32-year-old Jessie Jones. They say he didn’t have any dog food. He was taken to the Laurel County Detention Center where he faces a cruelty to animals charge. Animal control went to the home and picked up the dogs.
