Laurel County Sheriff John Root says deputies recently accompanied social services on a visit to investigate complaints of drug usage with juveniles present off Lucas lane. Deputies and detectives ended up arresting three people. As authorities arrived at the home two people were trying leave in a vehicle and another was pulling in. An unrestrained 9 year old child was in one of the vehicles. Another underage child was found in the residence. The driver of one of the vehicles was in possession of a glass pipe and baggie with residue. All three admitted to police they had used meth. Those arrested were 28 year old Falisa Marie Lucas, 37 year old David Joshua Casteel and 42 year old Tommy Charles Miller all of East Bernstadt. All three were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center. The two children were released to other family members.
