The Whitley County Sheriff’s Office says three people are charged after two children knocked on a stranger’s door after being unattended for two hours. Deputies say the children, who are 7 and 8, were in the woods and knocked on a stranger’s door saying they were lost. Police found their grandmother, Angela Hubbard, who told law enforcement that the child’s father was caring for them. Deputies also found the children’s father, Aaron Roark, along with Stanley Price. Police say both men had active warrants. Hubbard and Roark are charged with wanton endangerment and endangering the welfare of a minor.
