Police say a man is now in jail and investigators are trying to recover thousands of dollars worth of stolen items from a string of burglaries, stretching from Lexington to Somerset. Police say 42 year old Richard Brewer of Eubank is charged with receiving $10,000 worth of stolen items. Items included tools, trailers, appliances, and even small buildings were stolen to hold those other stolen items. Officers say targets of the thefts ranged from businesses to homes under construction, to residential homes. Officials say there could be more victims connected to this case. Brewer was lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center facing theft by unlawful taking charges. Police say there could be more arrests in connection with the case.
