2010 Trooper Island Raffle

The Kentucky State Police announces the 2010 Trooper Island Raffle. this years raffle item is a 2010, Red, Chevrolet Camaro, 1LT Coupe. Tickets are $10 each and are avalable from any Kentucky State Police post or by sending a Check for $10 per ticket and a stamped, self- addressed envelope to: Kentucky State Police, Post 11, 11 State Police Road, London, KY 40741. checks (no cash, please) should be made out to Trooper Island. The winning ticket will be drawn on August 29 at the Kentucky State Fair. (Raffle Winner is responsible for all tax and license fees.) All proceeds go to Trooper Island, a summer camp for children. For more information on Trooper Island please contact any Kentucky State Police Post.

 

Scavenger Hunts

Come and explore Beautiful South East Kentucky and at the same time have a chance to win cash!!! Take your choice of one or all three scavenger hunts

  • Tour The Parks West of I-75 Scavenger Hunt, cumberland Falls and Big South Fork River and Recreation Area. See Beautiful Cumberland Falls, take a look back into early mining, enjoy a Scenic train ride and much more.
  • Tour The Parks East of I-75 Scavenger Hunt, Pine Mountain State Resort Park, cumberland Gap National Historic Park, Kingdom Come State Park. Visit the Rock that could crush a town, enjoy beautiful vistas, ride a tunnel, motorcycle across The Little Sheppard's Trail, visit Mine Portal 31.
  • The Four Cities Scavenger Hunt London, Corbin, Barbourville, Williamsburg. Enjoy a small town atmosphere cruise around The Courhouse, eat at Weavers or The depot and much more.
  • Rules are simple: Pay a registration fee of $10 single, $15 double rider per scavenger hunt you wish to participate in. Submit one photo (be creative, however nothing illegal or dangerous). Photo must contain proof of visit to area of scavenger hunt you are participatring in, you (any number of people can be in photo, remember be creative) and your ride plus a current any area newspaper showing dates current with American Freedoms Rally June 3rd thru July 3rd. All photos must be turned in by 4PM Saturday July 3rd with Scavenger Hunt for marked on back.
  • First Prize $500, Second prize $250, third prize $100. Winner will be announced at 9PM on Rally Stage
