Police have released the identities of those killed in a crash during a pursuit. Kentucky State Police and Somerset Police responded to a crash on Highway 27 near the Bogle Street intersection in Somerset. Police say two people are dead and one officer is injured. Troopers say the crash happened during a police pursuit after a Science Hill police officer tried to pull over 33-year-old Steven O Vanhook of Eubank, for driving erratically in a Pontiac. The high-speed chase resulted in a crash with a pickup truck. The driver, 18-year-old Dylan B. Snow of Kings Mountain then hit a Department of Homeland Security vehicle. Homeland Security Police Officer 57-year-old Thomas Armstrong of Somerset was driving that vehicle. The drivers of the truck and the Pontiac were pronounced dead on the scene. The investigation is continuing.
