Laurel County Sheriff John Root says a London man was arrested after running from police and being found with drugs. Deputies attempted to pull over a motorcycle on the Hal Rogers Parkway but the rider sped up leading them on a chase. The rider sped through traffic lights and traffic until he finally lost control after turning onto a side road. The suspect fled on foot before deputies caught up to him and following a brief struggle was taken into custody. 32 year old Bobby P. Brown was charged with DUI, wanton endangerment, fleeing or evading police, drug possession, carrying a concealed weapon and a host of other traffic offenses. A search of Brown turned up meth and a weapon. He was also wanted on three outstanding warrants. He was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
