Kentucky State Police arrested a Knox County man on drug charges and other charges when police found drugs in the home while his 8 year old son was there. Troopers say 46 year old Lenny R. Baker of Dewitt was charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possessing drug paraphernalia and endangering the welfare of a minor. Officers said they had an anonymous call asking them to do a welfare check of a child living in Baker’s home. When police arrived Baker let them search the home. During the search a trooper saw Baker move around some items in his bedroom. Baker told police he was cleaning. Police went in and found needles. Two of them were uncapped and one had been used recently. Police also found a set of scales and baggies with a crystal residue. Baker admitted to troopers he had shot up meth the day before. Baker was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
