Storms rolled through Eastern Kentucky Tuesday night and into early Wednesday morning, leaving behind damage. Mr. Gatti’s Pizza in Corbin had a portion of the roof blown off during the high winds. The pizza chain was unable to open at its normal time Wednesday as people were cleaning up the damage caused by the storm. Parts of the roof and outside wall were damaged as a result. No one was in the store at the time of the storm, and there is no damage inside the building. Store manager Josh Allen says he hopes to open the restaurant later Wednesday or Thursday. Officials say Gatti’s Pizza was one of two structures that suffered damage as a result of the storm in the Corbin area.
