The Knox County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called out on a report of possible drug activity in a parking lot near 25 E just south of Barbourville. When officers arrived a man and woman ran over the hill toward a cemetery. While other deputies went after them another officer arrested 31 year old Kelly Gray of Barbourville on a Knox County Warrant. Meanwhile after a lengthy foot pursuit deputies caught up to 34 year old Richard Honeycutt of Barbourville. During his arrest police found crystal meth, marijuana, digital scales, a syringe and brass knuckles on him. Honeycutt was also wanted on a Knox County Warrant. The woman, 28 year old Whitney Mills of Barbourville, was found by Barbourville Police. She was arrested and charged with public intoxication-controlled substances. All three were lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
