A second defendant pleaded guilty to his part in a series of pharmacy burglaries throughout the southeastern U.S., including two in Corbin. 39 year old Kenneth Britton of Tennessee went before a judge in London where he pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute controlled substances, including oxycodone. Britton told the court he would drive the trail car during the burglaries looking out for police. According to the plea agreement, the conspirators operated over more than four years. Britton faces up to 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $1 million. The remaining defendants: James Ronald Jones, Jamie Sweeton, Randy Stiefel, Tony Britton and Robert Nunley are scheduled to go to trial May 1.
