The Knox County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called out on a possible kidnapping or domestic violence incident. Someone called 911 reporting a black Suzuki SUV had pulled out of the Tri County Shopping Center in Corbin with a woman’s legs hanging out of the passenger side. The caller said the vehicle was headed toward the Moore Hill area. Deputies spotted the vehicle and pulled it over. The only occupant in the vehicle was a man who said he was driving to work. Officers went to their house to check on the woman and determined a possible domestic had occurred involving a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship and not a kidnapping. The woman refused to press any charges, even after being presented with Domestic Victims’ Rights Information.
