The Knox County Sheriff’s Office says deputies went to a home on Blue Bonnet Circle in Corbin after receiving information that a stolen 1997 Chevy Blazer was there. Officers found a Blazer there and determined it was the one reported stolen in Laurel County. Deputies could hear people talking inside the house but no one would answer the door. After several attempts officers went in and found 28 year old Heaven Roaden of Corbin and 34 year old Robert Schipler of London hiding. They were both arrested and charged with receiving stolen property, criminal mischief, resisting arrest and menacing. There was also personal property in the house that had been taken from the stolen vehicle. The owner of the vehicle said extensive damage had been done to it after it was stolen. Schipler was also wanted by the A.T.F. for conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and was wanted on Knox County and Whitley County warrants. Schipler and Roaden were lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
