North Laurel's Cinderella run to the Sweet 16 Tournament came to an end yesterday as they were defeated by Rowan County 64-46. North Laurel Fans and Coaches alike were very happy to represent Laurel County in the State Tournament.

The North Laurel Jaguars won the 13th Region last night in an overtime game against Clay County 54-52. Marcus Carson was named Tournament MVP. The Jaguars will play Rowan County next Wednesday at Rupp Arena at 12 noon!
A majority of London's residents voted against package alcohol sales in the city during Tuesday's election.
There were 958 "no" votes and 801 "yes" votes.
Tornadoes hit the Northern part of Laurel County Friday night. Old Hare Road down past Hwy 25 was damaged very badly by the storms. Reports of victims trapped, even deaths are being reported. As of today, the National Guard along with Emergency personnel was on the scene to help victims with many shelters open for them.
